Terms of Service for Lightwork Games LLC

1. Introduction and Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Lightwork Games LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://lightworkgames.com/ (the “Site”), and any products, content, and services offered by Lightwork Games LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using our Site, creating an account, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Site or services.

The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality including but not limited to all games, artwork, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, rulebooks, characters, worlds, and game mechanics are owned by Lightwork Games, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Our name, “Lightwork Games,” our logo, and all related names, logos, product names, and slogans are under copyright of Lightwork Games LLC. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

4. Purchases and Payments

  • Products and Pricing: We offer board games, roleplaying games, and other products for sale on our Site. All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. We strive for accuracy in product descriptions and pricing but reserve the right to correct any errors.
  • Payment: We use a third-party payment processor PayPal and Ko-fi to bill you through a payment account linked to your purchase of choice. The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the Payment Processor in addition to these Terms.
  • Shipping and Delivery: Shipping and handling charges will be added to the price of your purchase. Risk of loss and title for Products purchased from us pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
  • Returns and Refunds: Please review our Return Policy Link, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms, for information on returns and refunds.

5. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Site, you may need to register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
  • Promptly notify us if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related to the Site or your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may only use the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

We are a faith-based community focused on fostering a positive, welcoming, and edifying environment. You agree not to post any User Content that:

It does not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon as such. We make no guarantees regarding the outcomes or success from the use of our resources.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Site immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and our Products are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the information, content, or materials included thereon.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Lightwork Games LLC, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Site or Products.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
